Registration Important Information
WELCOME TO THE 2026 FOOTBALL AND CHEER SEASON
Welcome to the 2026 Season!
We look forward to a fun, memorable, and successful season.
If you choose the “Pay by Check” option when you register, you must bring your payment to the In-Person Registration at the HYAL Clubhouse.
Football jerseys and Cheer uniforms will not be ordered and players will not be placed on a team until all SIX required checks are submitted.

ALL CHECKS PAYABLE TO HYAL - $25 fee for any returned checks -- No Refunds after July 1, 2026

CHECK #2 WORK BOND DEPOSIT - DATED SEPTEMBER 1, 2026
Will be cashed ONLY if Work Duty Commitment is not completed.
Work Duty Deposit $300.00 per family
CHECK #3 UNIFORM/EQUIPMENT BOND DEPOSIT - DATED OCTOBER 1, 2026
Will be cashed ONLY if uniform and equipment are not returned.
Uniform Deposit $200.00 per player/cheerleader
CHECK #4  MANDATORY FUNDRAISER – DATED THE DAY YOU ARE REGISTERING
$60.00 per family for a candy. Sell candy & get your money back or buy out for $40.00
CHECK #5  MANDATORY FUNDRAISER – DATED AUGUST 1, 2026
$50.00 per family for raffle tickets – sell all tickets to get your money back
CHECK #6  MANDATORY FUNDRAISER – DATED OCTOBER 1, 2026
$200.00 per family – for Online Pledge Drive cashed is $200 if pledges not received

Code of Conduct

HYAL Code of Conduct

The Hazlet Youth Athletic League (HYAL) is dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all participants. To maintain the integrity of our programs, we expect all coaches, players, parents, and spectators to adhere to the following Code of Conduct during any HYAL game, match, practice, or event.

Expected Behavior

All participants are expected to:

  • Conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and orderly manner at all times.

  • Demonstrate good sportsmanship toward all players, coaches, officials, spectators, and HYAL volunteers.

  • Encourage youth athletes in a positive and supportive way, regardless of the outcome of the game or match.

  • Help foster an environment that is inclusive, safe, and focused on player development and enjoyment.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Physical violence or assault of any kind

  • Verbal abuse, including yelling, cursing, or use of derogatory language

  • Threatening or intimidating behavior toward players, coaches, officials, spectators, or HYAL volunteers

  • Any form of harassment or disrespectful conduct

Disciplinary Action

Violations of this Code of Conduct will be taken seriously. Individuals found in violation may be subject to one or more of the following penalties:

  • Suspension for one game or match

  • Suspension for the remainder of the season

  • Suspension for one calendar year

  • Permanent ban from all HYAL activities and events

All official complaints will be reviewed by the HYAL Disciplinary Board, which will determine the appropriate course of action based on the severity and nature of the violation.

HYAL is a volunteer-based organization built on community values, teamwork, and mutual respect. Everyone involved plays a role in creating a safe and enjoyable experience for the youth of Hazlet.
